News:  RFP for 2015 Ground Maintenance for the Recreational Fields - The Town of Shapleigh is seeking proposals for a qualified contractor to provide weekly mowing's, raking and trimming of the Sports Fields.  Robinson Trail behind the sports fields will be mowed twice a year.  Bid price for 1 year and 3 years.  Bids due by Tuesday, November 4, 2014.  Questions should be directed to:  Karla Bergeron, Executive Secretary to the Board of Selectmen at 636-2843 ext 401.  The Selectmen reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. 

RFP for 2015 Ground Maintenance for the Shapleigh Commons, Town Hall and Library - Each bid must include a separate price for":  Spring clean up, Pruning of trees and shrubs, Raking/thatching, edging walkway, Bark mulching trees, fertilizing lawns, trees and shrubs.  Mowing, trimming and bagging as needed.  Bids must be received by Tuesday, November 4, 2015.  Questions should be directed to:  Karla Bergeron, Executive Secretary to the Board of Selectmen at 636-2843, ext. 401.  The Selectmen reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. 

Handyman - The Town of Shapleigh is looking for a handyman to do odd jobs around Town.  Light carpentry, painting and occasional lifting is necessary.  There are no set hours and hours vary from week to week.  This person would be ideal for someone retired.  Anyone interested may pick up a job application at the Shapleigh Town Hall, 22 Back Road, Shapleigh.  Deadline for applications is Friday, November 7, 2014.  For more information please contact, Karla Bergeron at 636-2843, etx. 401.

Parks Director - The Town of Shapleigh is looking for a Parks Director.  This is a part-time position.  The Parks Director needs to be able to organize and direct the development and maintenance of the Recreational Sports Fields.  All interested candidates should submit a resume or fill out a job application no later than Friday, October 31, 2014.  Any questions please contact Karla Bergeron at 636-2843, ext 401.

2014 Snowmobile Safety Courses - Cost is $5.00 per person, Location: Ossipee Mountaineers Snowmobile Club, 255 Old Alfred Road, E Waterboro, ME. To register call: Rebecca 207-294-1194. Students age 10-12 to be accompanied by parent of guardian during the full program. Dates: Feb 9th 8am-4pm, March 24th, 25th & 26th 6:00pm-8:45pm, September 6th 8am-4pm, October 4th 8am-4pm, November 1st 8am-4pm and December 6th 8am-4pm.
