Shapleigh Board of Selectmen will be meeting at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 13th conducting a School Board interview.   

School Board Vacancies:

Effective immediately, the Shapleigh Board of Selectmen are seeking to fill 2 vacancies on the RSU 57 School Board as a result of the recent resignations. Qualifications to serve as a member of the School Board include: 

  • Being at least 18 years of age
  • Being a resident of the Town you would be representing – Shapleigh

Fire permits - Effective immediately fire permits for the Town of Shapleigh may be issued Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm at the Public Safety Building, 506 Shapleigh Corner Road, Shapleigh - phone 207-636-2211.  Personnel will be available to issue permits if they are not on an emergency call.  Saturday - Sunday - you may contact the Fire Warden Steve Fiske @ 207-636-1553 or the Fire Chief, Duane Romano @ 207-636-1262 if interested in obtaining a fire permit.
