The Selectmen have made the decision to not have a open town meeting in March due to the COVID numbers increasing. All warrant articles will be voted on Friday, March 12, 2021 by paper ballots. Municipal Election and Referendum March 12, 2021 - ABSENTEE BALLOTS are available. Please consider voting absentee due to the number of Ballot pages (4) double sided - consisting of 8 Municipal Officers & 58 articles. Requests for a mailed ballot may be made by telephone or in writing. Ballots may also be picked up at the CLERK'S office by the voter or immediate family member - DEADLINE - Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Unless the voter completes a "special circumstances" application. Town Clerk's office, Town of Shapleigh, PO Box 26, Shapleigh, ME 04076 / 636-2843 Ext. 1 or 6. The POLLS will be open Friday, March 12th 8am -8pm at the Shapleigh Town Hall, 22 Back Road. TO Comply with State gathering limits, the ANNUAL Town Meeting will be voted on by Secret Ballot.

19 cases, the Town wishes to remind residents that although the Town Hall
remains open at this time, you may process many transactions online. Such as:
Motor vehicle renewals, dog, hunting & fishing licenses and
snowmobile registrations may be processed using the
links below. Or, if you prefer, you may telephone the Clerk’s Office
636-2843 ext 1 or 6 to arrange to process your transaction through the mail. Thank
you.
Dog Licenses - SHAPLEIGH DOG OWNERS - 2021 DOG TAGS NOW AVAILABLE - Maine State Law
requires each owner/keeper of a dog(s) at the
age of six months or over be licensed in the
Municipal Clerk’s office in the Town where the dog is kept. You must provide a
current rabies and spay/neuter
certificates when licensing.

636-2843 ext. 1 or 6. A $25.00 late fee will be
applied as of June 3, 2021
